A New Chapter for TLC: Welcome to Our New Home
We’ve been a bit quiet on our social channels lately, but that’s only because we’ve been incredibly busy behind the scenes. After all, moving into a brand-new facility is no small feat! Originally, we planned to transition into our new premises gradually over the next year or so, but unforeseen circumstances pushed us to speed things up—a lot. But now, we’re thrilled to unveil our new headquarters!
Here’s a quick recap of what’s been happening at TLC, along with a sneak peek of our new HQ.
A Massive Team Effort
First and foremost, we want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who helped us make this move possible. From our dedicated team to friends of friends who pitched in, each of you played a crucial role in bringing our new headquarters to life. You all went above and beyond—learning new skills, pushing yourselves, and showing incredible dedication to get everything built, moved, and set up in record time.
It’s been a challenging journey, but seeing our new TLC HQ come together has made all the hard work worthwhile. We’re incredibly proud of the new space we’ve created, and we can’t wait for you to see it!
What’s New at TLC HQ?
So, what’s different at our new location? Well, we’ve made a few upgrades to ensure we can continue providing top-tier service for all your vehicle needs. Here’s a rundown of what you can expect:
- Class 4, 5 & 7 Testing: With our brand-new MOT bays, we can now accommodate even the largest motorhomes. Our new 6.5m MOT ramp, combined with a 6.5-ton lifting capacity, means no vehicle is too big for us to handle!
- Increased MOT Capacity: With two MOT lanes operating side by side, we can serve more customers every day. This is great news for our valued trade customers who need more availability and quicker turnaround times.
- Uninterrupted Service During the Move: Despite the massive task of relocating, we kept our old bay fully operational until the last possible moment. As soon as the DVSA signed off on our new lanes, we hit the ground running, ensuring minimal disruption to our services.
- Roadside Breakdown & Recovery: Our breakdown and recovery teams never stopped! We’ve kept you moving, no matter where we were in the moving process.

This new space allows us to continue expanding and enhancing our services, ensuring your vehicle is always in safe hands—whether it’s a routine check or a complete overhaul.
A Special Guest for Our First MOT
One of our very first MOTs at the new site was for a rather special visitor—a Ferrari! One of our favourite customers dropped in with their pride and joy to christen the new lanes. We’re pleased to say that the Ferrari passed with flying colours, much to the satisfaction of our in-house Ferrari expert, Leo, who was keeping a very close eye on proceedings.
What’s Next for TLC?
We’re just getting started! With our new facilities in place, we have even more exciting developments in the pipeline. We’re constantly looking for ways to grow and improve so we can continue to provide the best service possible for you and your vehicles. Stay tuned for more updates!
